NAP OS IMPACT: 75+ Students. 18 Universities. 10 Countries. 2 Years. One Journey to secure Employment.

3 min read

Somewhere between a degree and a job offer, most students hit a wall. They’ve studied hard, sat the exams, collected the credits — and still can’t answer the one question every employer actually asks: what can you prove you can do? Nap OS was built to answer that question. And this year, it did — for more than 75 students, across 18 universities, spanning 10 countries beyond Ireland, all walking the same path from classroom to career.

This isn’t a careers fair handout or a one-off workshop. It’s a living pipeline that takes a student exactly where they are and moves them, step by step, toward a job they’ve actually earned proof for.

From Lecture Hall to Launch Pad

Every student who came through Nap OS followed the same rhythm, personalised entirely around them: start with their existing education, run a real assessment of where their skills actually stand, drop them into an industry project matched to their ambitions, layer in modern AI skills no employer will let you skip anymore, turn that work into a portfolio worth showing, get it validated by real employers, and walk out the other side employment-ready. Not employment-hopeful. Ready.

That’s the difference. A hundred percent of the projects in this cohort were personalised — no template, no generic module, no copy-paste “work experience” badge. Every single student built something that was theirs.

A Genuinely Global Cohort

The numbers tell a story of reach as much as results. Dublin Business School led the way with 22 students, followed by University College Dublin and National College of Ireland at 10 apiece, Dublin City University with 5, Trinity College Dublin and Griffith College with 3 each, and University of Galway and University of Limerick with 2 — with another 18 students drawn from across a wider circle of institutions.

Zoom out, and the map gets bigger fast. Eighteen universities in total, stretching from Dublin, Galway, Limerick, Waterford and Carlow, out to Grenoble École de Management in France, the University of East Anglia, Manchester Metropolitan University and Aston Business School in the UK, the Norwegian University of Science and Technology, Dokuz Eylül University in Türkiye, GISMA University of Applied Sciences in Germany, Amity University in India, the National and Kapodistrian University of Athens in Greece, the Federal University of Technology Minna in Nigeria, and Eötvös Loránd University in Hungary. Ten countries. One shared outcome.

Business, computer science, AI, marketing, finance, data analytics, engineering — the disciplines were as varied as the passports. And every one of them ran through the same Recruit, Workforce, Incubate engine: build the skills, prove the capability, open the door to a job — or, for those with bigger ambitions, to building something of their own.

Why It Works

Universities are under pressure to prove graduate outcomes. Employers are tired of CVs that all look the same and tell them nothing. Students are stuck in the middle, doing everything “right” and still getting nowhere. Nap OS cuts straight through that by replacing paperwork with proof — a portfolio an employer can actually look at and trust.

That’s what turned 75 personalised projects into 75 real steps toward employment. Not a promise. A pathway.

Your Turn

If you’re a student or graduate reading this and thinking that could be me — it can be. The next cohort is open now, and it starts with one simple step.

Send your CV and your story to palani@napblog.com. Tell us where you’ve studied, what you’re working toward, and what you want your career to look like. That’s how this journey starts — not with a form, but with a conversation.

One platform. Personalised work experience. Verified skills. Employment-ready talent. Seventy-five students already made the move. The next name on that list could be yours.
