Don’t take yourself too seriously.
You are just a dust particle.
Not in a meaningless way.
But in a freeing way.
I used to carry everything like it defined me.
Every mistake.
Every opinion.
Every outcome.
As if the world was watching.
As if everything mattered forever.
But then I paused.
And zoomed out.
This world existed before me
It will exist after me.
And somewhere in that vastness…
I am just passing through.
A small moment.
A brief existence.
A dust particle.
And suddenly, the pressure drops.
Why am I overthinking this?
Why am I afraid to try?
Why am I holding back?
If I am just a dust particle…
What is there to protect?
My ego softens.
My fear reduces.
My actions become lighter.
I start doing things for the experience.
Not for validation.
I speak more freely.
I try more boldly.
I fail more peacefully.
Because nothing is as permanent as I once believed.
And strangely…
This doesn’t make life smaller.
It makes it bigger.
Because when I stop taking myself too seriously…
I start taking life more seriously.
I notice more.
I feel more.
I live more.
The little things matter again.
Not because they are big.
But because I am present.
Being a dust particle is not about insignificance.
It is about perspective.
I am small in the universe.
But alive in this moment.
And that is enough.
So I remind myself again.
Don’t take yourself too seriously.
You are just a dust particle.
And somehow…
That is exactly what makes life beautiful.
